Jeremy W. Smith is a sixth-generation Sussex Countian who has been raised in the Real Estate profession. My father, Rupert, was a Drivers Ed teacher with Indian River until he transitioned into real estate in the early 80's. My experience started with riding along to appointments, putting up signs and meeting people.
I graduated from Indian River High School and attended Wesley College in Dover where I graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I played baseball for both schools.
I spent twelve years working at Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club where I was able to play and understand the game of golf and meet an interesting group of people. I also spent six years working and living in Wilmington and Dewey Beach. I was originally licensed in Wilmington and worked for Patterson Schwartz while commuting to Dewey to work at the Bottle and Cork on weekends.
Before coming to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty five years ago, I worked at Coldwell Banker in Bethany Beach for seven years. I met my wife Megan in Wilmington and married in 2012. We had two wonderful boys in 2013 and 2015, William and Alexander. We live in Ocean View where Megan and I are building and opening her chiropractic office in town.
While remaining in real estate and starting to raise a family, I have also opened Millville Organic Center in Millville where we recycle yard waste into a premium compost and topsoil. If you have any questions or would like more information, please call or email me.
